In terms of the relationship between the two, even though it starts with sex, there was no insta-love. Dean and Allie have mean banter and it’s so entertaining. I couldn’t help but chuckle and laugh at some of the lines. My favourite thing of the book is the banter. If I were Allie, I knew I didn’t stand a chance. I didn’t blame Allie for caving in to Dean because he is charming and tenacious. However, Dean was persistent and convinced Allie to have casual sex with him. She is a relationship kind of girl she doesn’t do casual sex. Knowing his reputation, Allie wasn’t interested. Knowing that her ex will visit her dorm room so Hannah, her roommate told her to go to her boyfriend’s place and stayed there.
